MY EXPERIENCE

I am a digital fabrication specialist and model maker based in Los Angeles, CA. My background in both design and production informs my approach to every project and allows me to bridge the gap between concept and finished product cohesively. My 15 years of experience in design has consisted of a variety of production environments and rolls, providing customer service, project planning, advanced fabrication, and logistics management to a wide range of clients. I am driven by my passion for leveraging the strengths of and synergy between many different fabrication techniques in order to achieve a final result that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Having worked as a model maker, technical specialist, 3D artist, and production coordinator, I consider myself to be a product design jack of all trades and am well-versed in a wide range of tools within the modern digital fabrication landscape. My particular focus on 3D printing allows me to emphasize the power of automated manufacturing. There is nothing I enjoy more than devising and multithreading a complex print queue through a production floor of printers in order to achieve a turnaround time and level of quality impossible through any other process.

Bringing a project smoothly from concept design and ideation through to final part is another aspect of the production process that I particularly enjoy. My knowledge of and experience in both design and fabrication allow me manage every moving part of the production pipeline effectively, providing me with the ability to plan, communicate, and problem solve with every collaborator, regardless of specialization or background.

I believe that genuine immersion is the key to mastering one’s craft, and as such my personal interests closely reflect my profession. In my free time I enjoy building and painting miniatures for tabletop games as well as playing video games, reading science fiction, and exploring the latest in tech products and automotive culture.
